Adult Dance Classes
At Aucott School of Dance we believe the benefits of dance can be experienced by people of all ages and it is never too late to start your dance journey. Our fun and friendly adult dance classes are suitable for all ages and abilities.
Adult Ballet classes are great for fitness, strength, flexibility and muscle tone as well as being good fun. We follow a traditional ballet class format with warm up exercises at the barre followed by centre practise and allegro enchainements. Our Adult Ballet class may be booked on a termly basis.
Adult Street Dance
Adult Street classes consist of a thorough warm-up including some stretching and strengthening elements followed by a range of routines to current music. A great way to let off steam at the end of the day and release your inner diva! Our Adult Street class may be booked on a termly basis.
A fun and friendly class ideal for beginners or those looking for a refresher of the basics of Tap technique. Release your inner Fred or Ginger and get tapping! Our Adult Tap class may be booked on a termly basis.
Full of a great variety of styles from Theatre Jazz and show tunes to current chart music! A good warm up and conditioning section before fabulous routines for all abilities. Our Adult Jazz class may be booked on a termly basis.
DDMIX – Diverse Dance Mix (Dance Fitness created by Darcey Bussell)
Diverse Dance Mix (DDMIX) is a brand new fun and entertaining full body aerobic workout created by the one and only Darcey Bussell and Nathan Clarke. No previous dance experience necessary. All you need is a pair of trainers and lots of enthusiasm! With dance styles drawn from throughout the ages and from different countries there really is something for everyone. DDMIX is bookable in half termly blocks.
